Early career teachers
Information for teachers in their first 3 years of teaching is available from the Professional Learning and Leadership Directorate website. Information is also provided on the Classroom Teacher Program, designed to support early career teachers in demonstrating the standards at Professional Competence. For teachers appointed for the first time to a Department of Education and Training school, a First time teacher toolkit is available on the DET intranet.
New Scheme teachers
Information for new scheme teachers is available from the Professional Learning and Leadership Directorates website, including and achieving accreditation at Professional competence toolkit.
