Amended syllabus for Stage 6 Engineering Studies
The amended Engineering Studies Stage 6 syllabus will replace the existing Engineering Studies Stage 6 syllabus. It will be implemented for Year 11 students in 2012 and will be first examined in the 2013 HSC.

HSC marking simulation videoconference
On behalf of the Technology unit experienced HSC markers for Engineering Studies presented videoconferences on HSC marking to students and teachers in regional NSW in 2010.

NSW HSC Online
NSW HSC Online/Engineering Studies is a valuable site for both students and teachers. It includes teaching and learning ideas, activities and resources for a number of HSC subjects. You can also download copies of the syllabus and specimen exam papers. New materials to support the amended HSC syllabus will be published after the completion of the 2012 HSC examination period.
HSC Study Guide
The HSC Study Guide is published each year by the Sydney Morning Herald. The articles are then uploaded to NSW HSC Online for twelve months. An updated HSC Study Guide is available for download.
Case studies in design, technology and cultural diversity
These case studies support the Design and Technology, Engineering Studies, Information Processes and Technology, and Textile and Design syllabuses and are a collaborative development between the DET and the Powerhouse Museum.
