ECAT: electronic content allocation tool
This electronic planning tool allows teachers to allocate content across the course and then transfers allocated content into units of work.
ECAT comprises three parts:
1. ECAT instructions (pdf 42 KB). This document provides information on how to use ECAT.
2. Content allocation tool (xls 1237 KB). The content allocation tool component is an Excel spreadsheet which allows the user to allocate content across the course. This forms part A of the unit of work.
3. Teaching and learning sequence (doc 42 KB). This Word document forms part B of the unit of work and represents the day-to-day classroom practice for the allocated content.
